   Available only for the Sideswipe Roadway Rundown set, this Sideswipe Kreon uses the new 2015 style of Kreon hips and torso, with a hollow hip-peg and a central post inside the torso for increased grip... which also makes them incompatible with about four years' worth of Kreons, and he's based on his Robots in Disguise counterpart. He also comes with a buildable vehicle mode of himself.

The good news is: He finally had a pair of swords, which is reused from Springer's/Drift's. He also reuses Knock Out's helmet.

Like the rest of the Robots in Disguise Building sets, the sets are released early in some Asia regions.

Kreo StrongArm Capture Cruiser Youtube Video!

Only available in the "Strongarm Capture Cruiser" set, this Strongarm Kreon uses the new 2015 style of Kreon hips and torso, with a hollow hip-peg and a central post inside the torso for increased grip... which also makes them incompatible with about four years' worth of Kreons. She also comes with a buildable Capture Cruiser vehicle modeled vaguely after her.

While the Kreon itself does not have a scannable badge, the set's instruction booklet has a unique scan-badge that rewards the player with a Strongarm Kreon item.

All of the 2015 Transformers Kre-O product was skipped by retailers in the US (at first), seeing release in Canada, Australia and various Asian markets. In late 2015, much of the line was finally released at discount in the US through TJ Maxx and Marshalls stores, including this set... although Strongarm and Sideswipe's sets turned up in considerably smaller numbers than the others.

MegaBloks TMNT Out Of The Shadows

Oh my goodness, this year is so great for brick building and collecting!  Not only do I love TMNT, but I love that it came out as a MegaBloks Set!  The features that would be based on the movies is a definite plus, and I love with just how much articulation there is to the minifigures!  Wether it be an adult or child getting these summer sets, these are definitely a great buy!

Oh, and did I mention lights and sounds?!  Yeah, Lights and SOUNDS!!

LEGO 76057 My most awaited set is released in the EU already!

I have just realized that the set that I have been waiting for the summer has been released in the EU and UK!  The only thing that I can do is wait for a few more months to get it here in Canada because the shipping charges and the profit margin that the secondary market has is just too high!  For now, please enjoy the photos I have found from Brickset.

LEGO 76059 Dock Ock's Tentacle Trap

Ok, so no words can explain to me how I can't stop myself from screaming, "DOCK OCK MECH!!"  every time I see this.  This is in no way accurate to any set, but I am excited about the creativity!  Ofcourse it can happen with Doc Ock being a genius and all.  

What's added to the hype to this super set is that White Tiger and Vulture is here!  Oh my God, I am so excited to have this set more than my kids!  hahaha!  Anyway, here are some photos for you courtesy of Brickset!

LEGO 76058 Spider-Man: Ghost Rider Team-up

The new marvel sets have been released in the UK and EU on June 1 and all of us Canadians can do is wait! For now, let's enjoy some of the photos I have found online at Brickset!

This one is the Ghost Rider Teamup!

Features 3 minifigures!  Who cares about the rest?  hahaha

I am annoyed that spidey still looks the same.. I mean, some printing on the boots or bring back the double-moulded boots at least! But, nonetheless, Ghost Rider is here and Hob Goblin is awesome!

 

 

MegaBloks Kubros

This is a very interesting take on "minifigure" collection. The MegaBloks kubros is definitely an eye catcher and a competitor for those Pop! figures.

This combines the cuteness element that is brought to you by the Pop! figures, and the brick-building fun in brick-based toy sets.

They will still have a few more ways to make these even better, but definitely a good start. I can see these stocking up shelves of both retail stores and collectors alike.

A major competitor, Lego, has released their own version of this, but not as a separate set, but as part of a playset found in Lego Marvel Superheroes Set 76051. 

As an enthusiast, I wish to see more of these come out!

LEGO 10665 Spider-man Car Pursuit

The LEGO Juniors set is not only fun to watch your child build, but it brings back lots of childhood memories as you watch your child build this!  Overall, this is a very easy build for any 5 year-old.  The theme is great, the target play feature is awesome.  Just watch out for those small pieces in the car specially the wings.  but other than that, this should be a really cool set to get any 5 year-old.

Though retired at the time of this post, the extra cash that you will fork over at amazon, bricklink, or any secondary LEGO market, I think this is still worth the purchase for any kid who loves Spidey!

LEGO 76049 Space Avenjet

This was a really fun build!  I had the pleasure of building this during lunch break!  The whole feel of the space ship is very "classic" Lego style.

I love every aspect of it, the 2-in-1 plane style, the color scheme, the spot for Space IronMan to hide, and especially, Thanos!
